This logo was done for Sixteen, Chicago - the renowned restaurant located on the 16th floor of the Trump Tower. The new logo reflects the idea that the restaurant’s interior is seen “as a sequence of spaces that do not reveal themselves all at once, but rather in procession.” The logo communicates this idea through the line that line illusion that runs through the center of each letter. This motif guides the viewer through the word and therefore requires each letter to be seen as an individual unit before the name of the restaurant can be seen as a whole.
